Awesome Jazz Trio!
Nuance Jazz played at our outdoor patio wedding reception and did a fantastic job. Their music matched the mood of our event perfectly. Dan responded to all our emails promptly and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Nuance if you are looking for classy jazz ambience at your wedding!

Perfect for Our Corporate Event!
The Prickly Pair Jazz Duo was perfect for our corporate event. We were looking for background music during our pre-dinner reception as well as background music for dinner. The music--and volume of the music-was perfect. In addition, we started our program at 8:00 p.m. during which time they had to "break down" their equipment. They were so quiet doing that, I forgot they were even there!!!

Prickly Pair showed up ahead of time, set up, and started doing their thing - which is wonderful to hear! Smooth Jazz which everyone could enjoy - added to the atmosphere without being intrusive just gave the right "vibe" to the evening.

Dennis and Dan of The Prickly Pear Jazz Duo were perfect for our Celebration of life event even in a venue with less than stellar acoustics. Very accomplished musicians and very personable.
Our guests came about 10 minutes early so they asked if they could go ahead and start! The volume was just right to hear but still allow conversation. I went outside briefly and missed the one song I had specifically requested, so they played it again for me!

Excellent Performance!

Perfect!
The Prickly Pair Jazz Duo was the perfect accompaniment to our afternoon party in the park! We had an early Thanksgiving Arizona-style with guests from near and far, of all ages and musical tastes. Dan on the guitar with Ben on the upright bass struck all the right notes with their jazz and mellow tones in the background. Dan was super easy to work with, and their music was everything I had hoped for. Our guests had a great time at our party, and I know the music was a huge part of the day. I would definitely use Prickly Pair Jazz Duo again if I had another party!

I used the Prickly Pair for an event I organized in Phoenix and I am sure glad I did. Dan and his colleague were first rate! From the planning phase right up to the day of the event, Dan was incredibly attentive, accessible and easy to work with. There were a lot of details to the event but none so small that Dan did not have time to discuss. And the music was amazing! I could see that my client and their guests were really enjoying it. I would certainly use Prickly Pair again and highly recommend this group for an event of any type.

They play straight-ahead jazz, quiet but intense. You can have a conversation over it, but it's worth devoting your listening attention to it if you're so inclined.
